We have two locations that you can examine for former members of the 6911th. Our "Remembering" pages contain one group of names and is found via the home page,
http://donmar.org/6911rgm/index.htm.
Those names, addresses, phones, etc., were entered manually by Don Watson. On January 18, 2000, we changed it so that individuals can sign themselves in, by accessing the form, below.
After entering the initial information at our GUEST REGISTER, below, help
us out with great "comments."
Comments: Enter years you were in Darmstadt at Cambrai-Fritsch Kaserne. Enter
the name of your Trick (Able, Baker, Charlie, Dog, or Easy, or Det-1).
Enter information that you remember about your tour of duty in Darmstadt
at the 2nd RSM, 6911th RSM/RGM, Det 1 and/or 6916th Rhein-Main,
or while under the 6910th SW at Darmstadt. Other USAFSS guys can sign in,
as well. Add any pertinent information at the GUEST REGISTER. NOTE: If you
are already entered on our REMEMBERING page at our website, or if you are
already listed in the GUEST REGISTER, below, you do not need to re-enter
your information. Since html-gear can't seem to get the notification system
to work, I had to build a new GUEST BOOK. CONTACT ME PERSONALLY, Don
Watson, dwats@cox.net, with any requests, updates, changes, etc. I missed
a lot of them and feel miserable about it. html-gear fell far short of the
PERFECTION we enjoyed in the USAFSS! ASK US who won the Cold War! Let's hope
the new GUEST BOOK works for everyone!

Memorial Day and Veterans Day are the two seasons each year when more Americans think about their mlitary family members or research their family's military history. The War Library's primary mission remains to archive the names and military information of every person of every nation during any war or peacetime who served in military uniform. Veterans live only as long as they are remembered.
